Obituary of Stephen Ward Hahn
Stephen Ward Hahn, age 66, of Bethel,Pennsylvania peacefully passed away on Tuesday April 3, 2018.Steve was born in Midland, Texas on January 23, 1952. He grew up in Ft. Worth and graduated from Paschal High School in 1970. He received his BA from East Texas State University and his MA from Ohio State University.He met his future wife, Lynn Scarberry, at Ohio State and they married on October 21, 1975.Steve has worked as Corporate Credit Manager for LB Foster Company in Pittsburgh for the past 31 years.Steve had many interests but his work with Boy Scouts of America was his passion. Growing up he was a member of Troop 400 in Ft. Worth. He achieved his Eagle Scout through this troop. He served several years as scout master for Troop 215 in Pittsburgh where his son, Taylor, achieved his Eagle Scout. He was instrumental in helping many boys in that troop achieve their Eagle Scout, as mentioned by several parents this past week. Steve served that troop in many capacities until this year. He was also a member of the Girl Scouts of America. His wife has served that organization for many years.Steve was the beloved husband for 42 years of Lynn Hahn, loving father of Allison Hahn (lac Powell) and Taylor Hahn (Jade Olson), son of Walter and Mary Hahn, brother of Carol Hahn and the late Neal Hahn and grandfather of Nova Hailey Hahn.
