Dorothy S. Garrett, 93, died Saturday, June 9, 2018.Dorothy Jean Sanford Garrett was born July 26, 1924 in Concho County, Texas. She grew up in Brownwood and attended Brownwood schools and Howard Payne College.Dorothy was a long-time member of St. Stephen Presbyterian Church, a former member of The Woman’s Club of Fort Worth, Penelope Club and Co-Wi-Bus Club.She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Charles A. Garrett.Survivors: Son, Greg Garrett and wife, Kate; step-granddaughter, Patricia McGinley; and God-Daughter, Katie Endres White and her family.
