Obituary of Wanda I. Irby Bailey
Wanda I. Bailey, 95, left her earthly family to live and rejoice with her Heavenly Father on Tuesday January 8, 2019. The Lord took her gently in her sleep.Wanda, or Grandma, as she was lovingly called by her grandson, was born August 7, 1923 in Cooper, Texas to Reverend Titus Irby and Daisy Mae Irby. She was a loving and caring mother to her son and daughter, Richard and Sandi, who she raised with their father, the late Clifton L. Bailey Sr. She was a long-time member of Sagamore Hill Baptist Church and North Richland Hills Baptist Church. She was also a longtime member of the Fort Worth Woman’s Club.Wanda was a caring woman and had a great sense of humor. She loved the Lord and was never afraid to share with anyone she encountered.We will always love and cherish your memory and will miss you Mother. What a beautiful day that you have met our Lord and Savior face to face in your Heavenly home. “Well done, My good and faithful servant.”She was preceded in death by her son, Richard Bailey, and her husband Clifton L. Bailey Sr.She is survived by her daughter, Sandi Bailey, grandson, Clif Bailey II, brothers, Lyndol Irby, Rev. Galen Irby and Weldon Irby.
