Obituary of Barbara Riney
Barbara Riney completed her journey her with us March 2, 2021.Born, Mary Barbara Hart, in Fort Worth, Texas on November 15, 1938 to Eugene Paul Hart II and Margaret Milan Healy Hart. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and most of all a friend.Barbara grew up in Fort Worth and attended Our Lady of Victory Catholic School. She married Gerald Riney in 1959 and started their family. She was mainly a homemaker over the years, being involved in PTA, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, bridge and most recently Bass Hall volunteer and the Children’s Education programs at Bass Hall. She was part of the wives of Knights of Columbus 2813 and a wife of a past Grand Knight.Barbara enjoyed traveling with her family when possible and playing bridge games with her friends. One of her life’s joys was watching her grandkids grow up. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her Great-Grandkids and attending some of their events. She enjoyed cross stitching and making items for the grandkids among other things. She maintained friendships from her childhood days over the years seeing/talking to many to this day.She is preceded in death by husband, Gerald W. Riney, her parents and 1 brother, Gene Hart. She is survived by her children, Chris Riney, Belinda Martin, Joe Riney and wife, Joyce, David Riney and wife, Debbie; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Mike Hart and wife, Cheryl; sisters, Margaret Palmer, Madeline Yaussi and husband, John; and many nieces and nephews and extended family.She was loved by many and will be sorely missed.
