Obituary of Laura Marilyn St. Clair Wilson
Laura Marilyn St. Clair Wilson, 92, passed away on October 17, 2021.Marilyn was born on December 24, 1928 in Fort Worth to Thomas Leon and Laura Mary Power St. Clair. She was a 1946 graduate of Arlington Heights High School and a 1949 graduate of Texas Women’s University where she majored in fashion illustration. She worked as a fashion illustrator for The Fair and taught art for Fort Worth ISD.Marilyn was an award winning watercolor artist. She was a member of the Southwest Watercolor Society. As a member of the Fort Worth Woman’s Club she actively participated in the art department. She also enjoyed genealogy and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Mary Isham Keith chapter, and the Daughters of the Republic of Texas. She was also a member of First Presbyterian Church, Fort Worth for over 70 years where she was a member of the Maj-Jo class and Presbyterian Women.She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth, to whom she was married to for 68 years Also preceding her in death were her parents, two infant brothers and her sister, Doris June St. Clair.Survivors include her daughter, Melinda Boyd of Cypress, sons Andy Wilson and wife Doogie of Buffalo, Wyoming, Guy Wilson and wife, Rhonda, of Annetta. She also survived by seven grandchildren, Lana Wrightman, Steven Boyd, Cade Wilson, Matthew Boyd, Brett Wilson, Kyle Wilson and Laura Wilson as well as nine great-grandchildren.
