Obituary of Rhonda Kay Colon
Rhonda Kay Colon of Fort Worth Texas, passed away on October 25, 2021, at the age of 50. Rhonda died unexpectedly after battling health issues valiantly for 2 months to stay with her loved ones.Rhonda was born October 19, 1971, in, Durant, OK. She lived in many places, both inside and outside the United States but found a permanent home with her 2 girls in Texas. Over the years, she received her cosmetology license but later found her passion in managing various restaurants. She spent the last few years as the manager of Buffalo Bro’s in Sundance Square where she was loved and respected by so many of not only the staff but the customer’s as well.She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and was always referred to as “momma Rhonda” because she was just that, a mother figure to everyone no matter your age. She loved spending time with family and friends and if you saw her, she was most likely surrounded by her granddaughters or as she called them, her “angel babies”. Rhonda loved family gatherings, watching her granddaughters, and being a friend to everyone she met. No one was a stranger to Rhonda and once she was your friend you had a cheerleader forever in your corner.She is survived by her husband, Jose (Joe) Colon; children, Candace Bagby (Josh), and Cheyenne Gonzalez (Steven); Miguel Colon; and granddaughters, Macie Bagby, and Paisleigh Bagby.
