Obituary of Mary Patricia Keith Bradley
Saturday, June 13,2020, Mary Patricia Keith Bradley, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away at the age of 91. She was born July 1, 1928, in Fort Worth, Texas to Henry L. Keith and Helen (O’Gorman) Keith. After attending Mount Carmel Academy and Our Lady of Victory, Patricia received her bachelor’s degree in music from TCU.Patricia was a teacher, pianist, church organist and homemaker. October 20, 1951, she married Francis Bernard Bradley at St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Fort Worth, Texas. They raised three children. Their daughter, Helen Anne, was born in 1954. In 1961, through Catholic Charities, they adopted their two sons, Michael and Kevin, from Munich, Germany.An accomplished pianist, Patricia then learned to play the organ from James J. Marsh at St. Patrick’s Cathedral. Patricia shared her talents for decades playing at the cathedral and later at St. John the Apostle Parish. She was also a talented seamstress, taught herself to knit, a great cook and an avid gardener. When her husband, Bernie, retired from General Dynamics, the couple built an earth-sheltered house in Haslet as their retirement home. The epitome of a lady in every sense, all who knew her described her as the sweetest person you could ever hope to meet.Patricia was preceded in death by her father, Henry, her mother, Helen Marie, her sister, Helen Louise Keith, husband Francis Bernard Bradley, and son Michael Edward Bradley.She is survived by her daughter, Helen Anne Bradley, son, Kevin Keith Bradley, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and cousins.
