Obituary of Craig Dean Lowell
On Sunday, August 11, 2019, Craig Dean Lowell, loving husband and father of four children, passed away at the age of 75.Craig was born on November 26, 1943, in Indianapolis, Indiana. Growing up in Rochester, New York, Craig developed a passion for sports, especially baseball and basketball. Craig went on to play baseball for Willamette University, where he received a Bachelor’s degree in History in 1965. He worked in sales for both Badger Uniforms and later Plastic Ingenuity, retiring at the age of 73. On December 20, 1969, Craig married the love of his life, Kathy Fay Olson. Together they raised three sons, Jeff, Chad, and Wes and a daughter, Lynn.Craig’s passion was his family. He coached his children in soccer, basketball and baseball, and attended nearly every sporting event and school activity in which his children and grandchildren participated.Craig was a founding member of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Keller, Texas, where he was an usher for over ten years.Craig was preceded in death by his father, Dean and his mother Eleanor. He is survived by his wife of over 49 years, Kathy, his children Jeff (Gina), Chad (Michelle), Wes, and Lynn (Tyson Weekley), his eight grandchildren, Shelby, Sidney, Courtney, Matthew, Bethany, Jackson, Reesa, and Ethan, and his brother Steve (Marie).
