Obituary of Brian Buehne Williams

Brian Buehne Williams, 47, of Garland, died Saturday, December 9, 2017. He will always be remembered as a loving son, brother, and father, and proud United States Marine.The youngest of four children, Brian was born on December 27, 1969, in Okinawa, to Lorenzo “Larry” and Mary Constance Buehne “Konnie” Williams. The family moved with the U.S. Air Force several times and in 1984 settled in Euless, where Brian graduated from Trinity High School in 1988. He enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps after high school, served in Operations Desert Storm and Desert Shield, and was honorably discharged. Brian graduated from Texas Tech University in 1996 and he received a master’s degree from the University of Texas at Dallas in 2003. He worked in the hotel industry and the U.S. Postal Service.Brian was a faithful fan of his sons’ North Forney football and baseball teams, as well as the Dallas Tigers, Baseball Nation Mavericks, Red Raiders, Dallas Cowboys, and Texas Rangers. Brian loved his dogs and was a kindhearted and generous person who loved fishing, camping, cooking, and tinkering in his workshop, but would drop everything to help someone in need.Brian is survived by his mother and father; sons, Logan and Garrett Williams; sister, Nicole Alders and husband, David, of Nacogdoches; sister, Melissa Finn and husband, David, of Dallas; brother, Robert and wife, Stefanie, of Independence, Kansas; and many cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces, grandnieces and friends.
