Obituary of Jesse Leo Morgan
Pastor Leo Morgan departed this life and went to spend eternity with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on July 16, 2021.Born Jesse Leo Morgan Jr. on October 23, 1942 in El Paso, TX. Leo was the son of Jesse Leo Morgan Sr. and DeAlvis Edwards Morgan.Leo married the love of his life, Linda Grace White on December 29,1962. He graduated from Tarrant County College with an associates Degree in Business and Christian Life School of Theology with a Bachelors of Theology.Retired from Bell Helicopter, Leo served as the Pastor of Living Word Teaching Center for 29 years through which he gave life to the vision of a large and thriving food distribution center. One of the greatest joys in his life was feeding the community in which he faithfully and selflessly served. He enjoyed riding horses, gardening and being with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.Leo is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Leo Sr. and DeAlvis Morgan and brother Arthur Ray Morgan.He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Linda; daughters, Melody Edwards, husband, Bill; his daughter Danielle O’Neal, husband Scott; grandchildren, Marcus Matthews, wife Rebecca, Morgan Matthews, Austin Edwards, Brooklyn Bolt, Husband Brandon and London O’Neal; great grandchildren, Trenton, Trevor, Jordan and Brooks Matthews, Tucker and Jesse Bolt; sisters-in-law, Julie Morgan, Pamela Hughes, husband Kelly, Deborah Edwards and husband Carlton.
