Obituary of Christy Jean Zimmerman Medina

Christy Jean Zimmerman Medina, 41, passed away July 7, 2021.Christy was born in Fort Scott, KS to Fredrick William and Sylvia Jean (Butler) Zimmerman on February 25 1980. She grew up in the Midwest, outside the town of Liberal, MO and attended Liberal HS graduating in 1998. After graduating college she traveled to Monterrey, Mexico to teach English during one summer. It was there where she met Luis Medina. Luis and Christy fell in love and married in July 31, 2004 in Oklahoma City and the Lord blessed their marriage with two beautiful daughters, Valerie(8) and Josephine (6).Christy is preceded in death by father, and is survived by her daughters, husband, mother and siblings.
