Obituary of Bedrick W. Pavlicek
Bedrick Winfred “B.W.” Pavlicek Jr passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2017.Bedrick Winfred Pavlicek Jr. was born January 18, 1928 in Bomarton, Texas the son of Bedrick Sr. and Herminia Marak Pavlicek. He graduated in 1946 and was voted “Best Athlete” in school. He joined the Marine Corps where he served as a mechanic. B.W. was the owner of Central Service Company from which he retired in 1989.A devout Catholic, B.W. was a Charter Member of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church and Good Shepherd Catholic Church. He loved music and played the piano and the accordion, and especially liked polka music. He joined the Knights of Columbus at age 18 and was a charter member of KC Council #4709 and currently a member of KC Council #759.His wife of 67 years, Catherine; son, B. W. (Rick) Pavlicek III and wife, Jeanne; daughter, Belinda Catherine Middendorf and husband, Robert; granddaughter, Hanna Middendorf; sister, Patricia Coker of Seymour, Texas; and numerous nephews and nieces.
