Obituary of Sarah Lorraine Torres

Sarah Lorraine Torres, 33, died Wednesday evening, December 30, 2020, at a Fort Worth hospital after fighting cancer more than a year.Sarah was born November 3, 1987 in Salinas, California to Jorge Torres and Christine Pack. She graduated from Cortes High School in 2006 and received her degree in veterinary technology at Brightwood College in Phoenix, Arizona. She worked with animals in Arizona, California and Colorado before working at I-20 Animal Medical Center in Arlington, a job she loved. Sarah loved animals. She enjoyed photography, competitive country-and-western dancing, and pop art.Survivors: Her partner and boyfriend, Nick Nelson of Fort Worth, her father, Jorge Torres of Santa Fe, New Mexico; her mother, Christine Pack of California, her cousins Jerene Bustamante of Fort Worth, Sierra Holder of Houston, her beloved “chemo” dog Loki, and many friends.
