Obituary of Cary Delaine Nehib
Cary Delaine Nehib, 76, went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at 7:33 a.m., the exact same time that his beloved wife, Mary Helen, went to be with Jesus 31 years before.Cary was born December 9, 1944, in Gainesville, Texas, to Ed and Hazel Nehib. Cary accepted Jesus as his personal savior at an early age.He graduated from Valley View high school in 1963 and prided himself on being a member of the first Valley View football team to advance to a bi-district game.Cary began his career in wholesale auto parts at Huffines Chevrolet and had customers who followed him to new dealerships throughout his 40-year career.He also met his wife, Mary Helen, while at work and they were married on November 1, 1973. Immediately after they were married, he adopted Mary’s daughter, Paula Jo and the Nehib family was complete.He always put God first and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a man of his word and enjoyed making people laugh.Cary immensely loved his granddaughter, Delana Marie, who was his reason for breathing and whom he raised as his own.He was “Papa Cary” to many.Cary was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Helen Nehib; his parents Ed and Hazel Nehib, sister-in-law, Marva Sue Nehib; and his grandparents, aunts, uncles, and other family membersCary’s memory will forever be cherised by his loving daughter, Paula Jo Nehib; granddaughter, Delana Marie Nehib; brother, Glenn Nehib; sister, Debbie Miller and her husband, Paul; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives extended family, and dear friends.
