Obituary of Robert Pulido
Robert “Robb” Pulido Jr., VP of Pulido’s Restaurants, beloved father, son and brother, died suddenly on Tuesday, February 6, 2018.Robert Pulido, Jr. was born on May 22, 1963 to Robert Pulido Sr. and Carol Rodriguez Pulido. He attended Holy Family Catholic School and graduated in 1981 from Arlington Heights High School, where he was a Varsity cheerleader for all 4 years. Robb then went on to earn a B.B.A. from Texas Christian University. While attending TCU, Robb met his lifelong friends when he joined the SAE fraternity. Most notably, Robb became the first freshman Varsity cheerleader in TCU’s history. Many members of the TCU community can recount watching him somersault across the entire football field. Even further highlighting his commitment to the sport, Robb spent his summers coaching cheerleading at UCA.Robb was barely even twelve when he started working in the family’s popular and well-respected business, Pulido’s. Story goes that he broke his arm on their very first tortilla machine, but the tale still holds that he “broke in” their very first tortilla machine. Robb truly had such an unparalleled ability to make everyone around him whether customers, employees, friends, strangers, or family feel special, important and loved. His kind and generous nature was shown annually at the Holy Family’s Feast Day Dinner as well as at various Pulido’s catering events in the Fort Worth community. Anyone who knows Robb can genuinely say that he was a loved Son, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, Friend and most importantly Father to his two sons.He is proceeded in death by his paternal grandparents Pedro & Dionicia Pulido and his maternal grandfather Tony Rodriguez.
