Obituary of Charles Warner Milling
Charles Warner Milling, 69, passed peacefully on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 with family by his side.Chuck was born on August 14, 1952, in Fort Worth to Dr. Margaret and Robert Milling. He was a graduate of Paschal High School and Texas Wesleyan University. As a kid he was a member of the Fort Worth Jr. Optimist Club where he perfected his speaking skills. After college Chuck taught 4th grade. Then he joined IBM where he met his beloved wife Karen of 35 years. Chuck retired after 30 years from a successful and award winning career.Chuck was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling and watching the Dallas Cowboys. Chuck also enjoyed playing his guitar and singing, and took every opportunity to spend time with his family. He lived a life filled with love and laughter, always finding the opportunity to smile and spread joy to those around him. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.Chuck was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Linda Banks and Judith Lokey.Survivors; Wife, Karen Milling; children, Matthew Milling and wife Lauren, Charlie Milling and wife Joyce, Kimberly Lancarte and husband Parker, Katherine Milling and husband Kyle Curry, Margaret Darling and husband Zac; grandchildren, Adelaide, Henrietta, Amelie, and Luca Milling, Annabelle and Bryan Milling, Nathan and Alister Lancarte, and Warner Darling; brother, Ben Milling and wife Judy; sister, Lorie Milling; and a host of extended family.
