Obituary of Eleanor Irene Galier Simon

Eleanor (Ellie) Galier Simon, age 80, of Gainesville, GA passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at her residence, surrounded by her family. Mrs. Simon was born August 9, 1937 to the late Victor & Lucille Galier in Columbus, Ohio. She was a member of Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church in Dawsonville, GA.She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Anne Simon Langston, her grandson, Lawrence Victor Simon Jr., and 3 siblings: Peter Galier, Mickelena Galier Schroeder and Victor Galier.Mrs. Simon is survived by her husband of 55 years, Daniel J. Simon; children, Lawrence V. Simon, Danielle Simon and Suzanne Simon Rutkowski and husband, Mark; grandchildren, Nicolai Jay Simon, Daniel Raymond Lieberman, and Daniel Joseph Langston; and brother, Vincent Galier.
