Obituary of Lucy Mary Pugh Andrijeski

Lucy Andrijeski, 88, passed away at her home on Monday, January 29, 2018.Lucy was born June 28, 1929 in Dublin, Ireland, the daughter of Richard and Lucy McKeagh Pugh. She attended elementary, high school and business college in Ireland and worked for a paper company there. She married Dan Andrijeski and came to America with him to start a new life together. Her family was a most important part of her life. She was involved in the lives and activities of her children and continued with her grandchildren, even calling them just to ask, “How are you?” Lucy was a member of the Carswell AFB Chapel and devoted her time to her church, whether visiting the sick, making food for the hungry or working for the poor. She loved gardening, reading, bargain shopping and especially rummaging at garage sales.Survivors: Children, Sue Bieg, Sandra Maverick, Mary and Richard Russell, Daniel D. and Conchita Andrijeski, and Tina Hood; grandchildren, Erin and husband, Marshall Strawn, Emma and Ethan Bieg, Shannon and Reilly Maverick, Merrick and Devin Andrijeski, Audrey and Lana Hood.
