Obituary of John L. Puff

John L. Puff, Sr., passed away Tuesday afternoon, April 25, 2017.John Lewis Puff was born on October 21, 1937, in Dallas, to James Harrison Puff, Sr. and Katherine Harriett Thompson Puff. A 1955 graduate of Paschal H.S., he attended the University of Texas at Austin before enlisting in The United States Army and proudly serving for 3 years.John was a longtime realtor in Fort Worth eventually owning his own realty, Puff and Associates. He was a member of Fort Worth Board of Realtors serving as president in 1977, and a member of the Texas Association of Realtors. In 2013 he was honored as Realtor Emeritus for the Fort Worth association. John also served on the Board of Casa Manana. A kind and warm hearted man, John never met a stranger, always charming others with his big smile and blue eyes.Survivors: John is survived by his children, Lyndi Pitts and her husband, Davis, and John Puff Jr. and his wife Carie; 5 grandchildren and one great grandson; his mother, Katherine Kunstman; and brothers, Jim Puff and wife, Joan and Charles Puff and wife, Cindy; and his devoted companion of 25 years, Dorothy Ferrante.
