Obituary of James Hawley Kincannon III
Azle, Texas - James H. Kincannon III, or Jay, as he was known all his life, passed away on July 19, 2022.
A private family service will be held.
Jay was born in Fort Worth to Jim and Kathy Kincannon, on May 26, 1947. He graduated from Paschal High School in 1965.
Jay’s lifelong love of golf began in high school. He spent his twelve years as a PGA Tour caddie. Caddying took Jay to all fifty states, and Scotland, Ireland, and England. Before and after his time on tour, Jay worked as a custom home builder and remodeler in Fort Worth, Arlington, and Austin.
Jay is survived by his brother, Bryan Kincannon and wife, Mary, nephew, James Kincannon and wife, Lara, and their children, JD and Zoe, all of Fort Worth, and cousins, Mrs. Bill Clover, Mrs. G.N. Furseth, and Sherry Furseth, all of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 322 Eighth Avenue, 16th Floor, New York, New York 10001.
The family express their thanks to the staff at Legacy Oaks of Azle and Beyond Faith Hospice LLC for the care given to Jay.
