Obituary of Suzanne Pflug Davis
Suzanne Pflug Davis Davis, 90, residing in College Station, passed away at home with family on August 29, 2022 from heart failure.
She was born in Tecumseh, Nebraska on May 18, 1932, a single child, to Jacob H. Pflug and Susan E. McDougal. She married Arnold G. Davis in 1951, had Craig, Paul, Julie, and helped raise granddaughter Laura.
Artistically gifted with an independent personality, faithful to family, poised, astute, she taught in Knox City and Temple. A Protestant, she taught many years at St. Andrews, Fort Worth. In the early 1970s with an undergraduate degree in education from U. of Mary-Hardin Baylor, she was the first northern European teacher in a local segregated high school. In retirement, she enjoyed painting and selling shirts with her husband and later traveling extensively with son Paul.
She is preceded in death by her husband and daughter Julie. She and her close family loved each other beyond words.
