Kathryn Lee Stone-Marshall, 60, passed away unexpectedly on October 13, 2022.
Memorial Service: 2 p.m. Saturday, October 29, 2022 at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Funeral Home, 4350 River Oaks. Blvd.
Kathryn Lee Stone-Marshall was born in Lafayette, Louisiana on Christmas Day in 1961. With her birth, the Stone family was perfectly complete. John and Marian Stone had 4 children; Ellen Louise, John David, Ann Victoria (Vicki), and …. their Christmas baby. She departed this world on October 13, 2022.
The majority of her school years were spent in Midland, Texas. She graduated from Midland High School and attended Texas Tech. She began her professional career in the banking industry in Midland, TX. She moved to the Dallas area and began working in the legal profession eventually rising to a personal legal assistant in private practice.
That information tells you little about her. Know that she cared for people, engaged in the world, and loved big. As her life impacted so many, her death will do the same.
She and her husband, Jon Marshall, lived for many years in Plano and most recently began traveling.
Kathryn is survived by her husband, Jon; and his son Adam Marshall and his wife Meuy and their children Kaelyn, Jack and Laila; also her mother, Marian Stone; and Kathryn’s siblings, Ellen Khan and husband Bashir and children Julie (Mike) Makow and Jason Venable, her brother Jon Stone and his wife Lee and their children Richie (Kaitlin) Morgan, Connor (Katie) Morgan, Vic Morgan and Isaac Stone, and Vicki Teakell and her husband Bill and their children Amber (Charley) Hohman, Michael (Natalie) Christian, and Emma (Cameron) Hodge. Also, Jon’s siblings, Summer Crow and her husband Robbie and their children Kriya and Kali (Joel). Patti Marshall and her children Trevor (Katie) and Lindsay (Bryce), Chris Marshall and his wife Janet and their children Zach and Haley, Adrian Marshall and her husband Duane and children Torin, Declan, and Liadan . She was a beloved wife, sister, grandmother and aunt and great-aunt.
