Barbara Fullard Lockwood, age 84, residing in Benbrook passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022.
Visitation: 3:00 – 4:30 p.m. with a Rosary at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 18, 2022, at Thompson’s Harveson & Cole Funeral Home, 4350 River Oaks Boulevard, Fort Worth, Texas 76114.
Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 19, 2022, at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 1201 South Cherry Lane, Fort Worth, Texas 76108
Interment: 10:15 a.m. Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211
Barbara was born February 24, 1938, in Patterson, NJ, to Edward and Irene Fullard. She worked for Don Carter Bowling Center until she retired. She was a lifetime member of Girl Scouts and volunteered with the organization. She was active member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church and Catholic Daughters of America. Barbara lived a full life, often enjoying her crafts, reading, and genealogy research.
Barbara is survived by her brother, Edward Fullard; children, Anita Wells and Teresa Butler (Thomas); grandchildren, Susan Ressler (Randie), Laura Butler (Jeremy), Shoshanah Newell (Ryan), Dakota Wells; great-grandchildren, August Ressler, Shelby Butler, Joseph Parker, Logan Newell, Patsy Newell, Braxton Newell.
Memorials: Should friends desire, memorials in lieu of flowers may be given to Girl Scouts of Texas Oklahoma Plains, Catholic Charities Fort Worth, or a charity of choice.
