Michele,
My heart goes out to you & all your family.
I am deeply saddened and can't begin to imagine the pain you all are going through!
I really enjoyed being around Chris.
I am 17 years his senior so he never called me by my first name. He always referred to me as Mr Lane. He was always so respectful and friendly to me. He taught me many things I still use. Him and my son drove probably between 80 and 100 miles to my house. They spent the day crawling around on their bellies insulating my attic. I hadn't even asked him to do it. When they were done Chris refused any kind of payment. He has left a lasting impression on me. A great one!
I am praying hard and often for God to give you the strength to endure and some peace along the way as you deal with this.
I'll never forget Chris or the day we met. We were traveling to Paris on the back of a USO tour bus. I have so many great memories. Here is a picture of Chris with my daughter on a trip to Disney World. Chris, you will forever be missed.
Dear Michelle,
Please know how saddened Pat and I are to hear about your husband's passing. We will be in prayer for your entire family.
