Obituary of Randall G. Sims
Fort Worth - Randall G. Sims died suddenly on Monday, April 10, 2023.
He was born July 8,1953 to his parents, Grover L. Sims and Hazel I. Sims, who have preceded him in death.
Randall graduated from East Texas University in Commerce Texas after earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Radio and Television. He was a member of Alpha Phi Omega, a national service fraternity.
He was a member of the Boy Scouts of America. He achieved awards: Eagle Scout, God & Country and membership in Order of the Arrow.
Scouting gave him opportunities and challenges for adventures in the outdoors. He delighted in Philmont Scout Treks and a week long canoe trip in Minnesota’s Boundary Waters Canoe Area and Queticho Park in Ontario,Canada.
Randall is survived by his sister, Barbara Gary, nephew, Shawn Gary and wife Ginny, niece, Eden Ross and husband Rod Ross, great-niece, Emma Gary and great-nephew, Chase Allen, aunt, Geneva Emerson and uncle, Raymond Wall; and numerous cousins and family friends
May he rest in loving peace and in our memories bring a smile.
Graveside Service: 11:00 am Friday, April 21, 2023 at Greenwood Memorial Park, 3100 White Settlement Road.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the following: Epilepsy Foundation of Texas, Hill County Paw Pals, or a charity of your choice.
