Obituary of E. Paul Jones

E. Paul Jones, 97, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2023 at his home. 

Memorial Service:   10:00 a.m. Reception with an 11:00 a.m Service on Wednesday, October 25, 2023  at Edge Park United Methodist Church.  Interment: Laurel Land Memorial Park. 

Should friends desire, memorials in lieu of flowers may be given to Edge Park United Methodist Church. 

Emlyn Paul Jones was born March 24, 1926 in Dallas, Texas, and was adopted as the son of John Grover Jones and Pauline LaRue Jones.  He servied in the US Navy in WW II in the South Pacific. 

Paul was a retired executive from General Motors.  After his retirement he owned his own consulting company and later was CEO and President of the  NACM Office, Fort Worth Division.  He was also an endowed member of Tabernacle Masonic Lodge #1195 since 1949.  He was a member of Edge Park UMC where he was a teacher of the Friendship Class. 

He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Ruby Jones and his son, Steven Paul Jones.  He is survived by his son, Lynn Jones.
