Obituary of Johnny Lynn Heaton
Johnny Lynn Heaton, aged 75, of Azle, Texas, peacefully passed away on November 1, 2023, surrounded by the warmth of his loving family. Born in Bowie, Texas on January 27, 1948, Johnny was the beloved child of William Henry Heaton and Johnnie Lois Weaver.
Throughout his lifetime, Johnny explored various professions, including painting, home construction, and sales, approaching each with a perfectionist's dedication. He was a devoted son, brother, husband, and father, showering his family with wholehearted love and care.
Johnny possessed a multitude of talents, showcasing his gifts as an artist, a skilled craftsman, and an avid fisherman. He found immense joy in fishing alongside family and friends, creating cherished memories by the water.
Johnny was preceded in death by his father, William Henry Heaton, his mother, Johnnie Lois Ballenger, stepmother Dottie Wallace, and his brother, Roy Gene Heaton.
Those left to hold Johnny's memory close to their hearts include his loving wife, Linda Heaton, his brother Billy Heaton (Teresa), his sister Vicki Renfro (Loyd), daughters Machelle Hamilton (Bryant), Cathy VanHoutan (Kahn), son Cody Heaton, stepdaughter Laura Hentschel (Sergio), stepson Joe Lowry, grandchildren Manda Evans, Erika Knighton (Robbie), Ashlee Earnest (Houston), Austin VanHoutan (Kinzie), Rachel Wood (Jacob), Jeffrey Mooney, Justin Mooney (Melissa), Alex Dooley (Rainna), and Elizabeth Dooley. Johnny is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, and nephews.
