My heart is in pieces knowing that this world is no longer blessed with Mike’s contagiously cheerful, hilarious, and light-hearted personality. Mike has always welcomed me with arms wide open. The Pacheco household was my sanctuary for a long time and Mike had a huge role in making me feel like family. I am so incredibly sorry for your loss, as this was incredibly unexpected. Mike will always be remembered with laughter and joy in my eyes and I’m happy that he’s now with Holly and no longer in pain. I love ya’ll to death and miss ya’ll incredibly. Ya’ll are in my prayers ❤️

Mikey is my little brother, but the same age as my kids. So I didn't get to grow up with him, but loved him like one of my kids. He will always be a special little sweetie pie. Miss you bro

My love, prayers, and condolences. I have known Mike for over 30 years and am blessed to have so many wonderful memories . He loved Brooke and Jake deeply and unconditionally. The world will be a sadder place without him in it.

I was stationed with Mike at Ellsworth AFB, SD, he Glen Bielic and I were roommates for a couple of years, lots of fun between us all and every now and then Mike would play the trumpet for us, however he had to go to a different room to do it, what a treat, he will be deeply missed, my thoughts and prayers go out to all Mike has touched in his life.

Michael was my uncle, two years my junior, my friend but mostly like my brother. We grew up together, although we mostly lived quite a ways apart. Our parents were good about getting the families together whenever possible. We shared our first cigarette together and other childish nefarious things but stayed out of trouble for the most part. He was a kind man with an grand smile and an infectious chuckle I can hear in my head right now. Haven't seen Mike in person for a number of years, seems like we live half a world away. We've stayed in touch over the years via Marco Polo app for the most part. Mikes favorite form of communication, which was smart, you can see each other but can't talk over each other. This life is but a vapor, James 4 : 14 but I have great hope in seeing Mike in the age to come. I love you Michelob (my nick name for mike when we were kids) he loved it! Love Scotty.
