Rest in Peace Joe Creamer. I met Joe while performing as part of the Disney Cruise line musician team and worked with him on a number of contracts. He was an absolute gentleman, always respectful, kind and positive in his professional and personal capacities. I recall sitting up on the deck between sets chatting about music, artists and all manner of topics. He was an easy man to talk to and be around and brought joy to countless people through his fantastic piano playing. He was a natural performer and shared his experience and advice freely and generously. Thinking of Joe from Ireland today. May he rest in peace. Le Meas (With Respect)

Joe was the nicest guy in the place no matter where you were. Everyone loved him. He had an infectious smile and laugh and was an incredible piano player and showman. My wife and I spent many happy hours listening to Joe play his wide variety of music. He could read the crowd and keep them in their seats. As a professional musician for many years, I admired Joe's ability to keep the customers satisfied. Most people don't know that he wrote one of the most beautiful Christmas songs I have ever heard, "You're My Christmas Dream Forever". Joe and I worked together to do the Nashville recording of it and tried to get it on the air, but never succeeded. It's a hit, I know it. I hope someone hears it one day and does what I was not able to do. You can watch the YouTube version at https://youtu.be/lx-JO_-4uwM?si=v5RgzEnqJVrLF6pk. Or you can just go to YouTube and search for it. It is a wonderful gift that Joe left behind for us all.

Myself and my husband met Joe when he played at Kirbys in Plano. He would always sit with us on his breaks. We got to know him quite well and we always left laughing together. Joe was a learned piano player and could play just about anything people asked for. Our daughter, Carly, was working there at the time. Joe was amazed that she knew most of our and his songs from our era. Joe wrote the most beautiful Christmas song and my husband being a drummer in the past, was helping Joe to get it out there. Joe was not too savvy with computers, etc. If you don't know someone in the industry it's a tough thing to do. I'm just so glad we have a copy of the original. He was happiest when he was making music. We met up with Joe about 2 years ago for lunch and still had so many things to talk about. He was a wonderful guy and we'll miss him greatly. Thanks Joe Creamer for all your music and memories, God Speed!

I worked with Joe onboard the Disney Magic and he always filled the atrium with so much music and magic for crew and guests alike. I will always remember the way his face lit up whenever he saw a Disney princess come down the staircase and immediately would transition into a song from their movie. It always made me feel so special and we always blew each other kisses at the end of the night as a silent thank you for each others magic- he was so wonderful and will be truly missed.

We met Joe back in 2017 working for Disney Cruise Line. Little did we know that he would become our music mate, our adventures around the world buddy, our food discoverer companion, our best friend... He was always there for us. He would laugh at every silly joke we told him and would always try to come up with a joke to reciprocate. He was kind, loving, generous, funny and just brilliant to be around. He was always positive and caring. He worried about people and tried to make everyone feel welcome.
Our hearts are truly broken to know that his body has gone. However, there's always the hope that he is keeping an eye on us, knowing how much we miss him - we don't think he understood just how important he was to us - even though he and us would try to make it clear. We sent each other songs, videos, pictures, all sorts of things to make sure we knew how much we missed each other. We do believe we made his days on the ships much more enjoyable and he certainly made our days simply brighter... Our hearts deeply hurt to know we won't see him again. We send him all our love (as we used to finish every message we sent him, specially when he didn't feel well) and we truly hope God gives the strength to his family to cope with this painful loss.
The pictures are: In a cafe in Italy - 2019; on the Disney Magic ship in Nassau - 2022; visiting the hotel Atlantis in Nassau - 2022; rehearsing for a show with another musician friend, somewhere in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean on our way to Europe - 2022. We love you and talk about you very often "Joemondo". You will forever live in our hearts.

My heart is broken hearing of the loss of my next door neighbor and truly good friend Joe. We were blessed to have grown up together in a neighborhood filled with such great friends. Our parents were good friends as well. The only downside was when Mrs Creamer (Margaret) substituted high school and I had to show up and be nice or risk my true behavior being divulged over morning coffee. I will cherish our 50 reunion pics❤️ Love and prayers to Glenn, Candy and families,

As I grew up, from MclLean Middle school, all the way to graduation at Paschal in 1974, Joe was always right by my side. Well , technically , he was always right in front of me, you see, his name and mine were almost identical, sort of. The first day of Junior high school, (the day I met him) we were both in line to get out schedules, (both of us nervous), he sat directly in front of me for homeroom for four years. We got our inoculation shots for something we had never heard of at the same time, (nervous again), Our yearbook pictures at the same time,(Every Year), he is beside me in the giant senior photo, We signed up for selective service at the same time, (scared, but we never had to use them), and, among other things, I walked across the stage to get my diploma, watching him shake the principal's hand before me, It turned out I didn't see him for several years after that, but we both became professional musicians, he was much more talented than I. Then, just this year, I spent a majority of the time at the Reunion, catching up and hearing his stories, and he mine. Joe shared some of the more interesting moments of my life just in front of me, and was always there to encourage me, He was one of the most kind and gentle individual I ever had the pleasure to stand in line behind, Love and will miss you , till I see you again. I didn’t know Joe well but I remember him very well from the
halls of Paschal. Just his name brought to mind his big smile & a face kissed by sunshine. So glad to know he continued to find sunshine on an ocean blue, playing the instrument he loved.
My older sister Diane (PHS ‘72) played piano, too; she’s been gone 40 years. She said not to worry about her….all musicians go to heaven so there will always be music there.

Joe was a friend at heart and a Texan he played for me while I was in the talent competition and I enjoyed just being on stage with him. My parents were in the audience. It was a wonderful experience. Plus Joe's Mother was so nice. It the family of Paschal that makes everything Great and blessed. . My Grandmother appreciated it also even thought= that one she did not make it. She was Merit Mother of Texas twice . This year the City of Fort Worth honored her by naming a meeting room after her. I will never forget being blessed by Joe. Thank you! and Thank you to the Family! Be at Peace forever!

I am so very saddened to hear of Joe's passing. Growing up on Whitfield, one street over from Selkirk where Joe lived, I have known Joe since early childhood. After meeting Joe as a child (and disliking what I thought was my unusual name) I went home and told everyone in my family my new name was Joe. A name I thought was cool and strong and not so unusual. Anyway, no one went along with my fantasy name change, but I will always appreciate Joe for the fine friend, walk to elementary school buddy, middle school carpool buddy and great fellow Paschal schoolmate he was. Glenn and Candy my heart goes out to you and your families on the passing of such a wonderful person.

I lived on Selkirk a few houses down from Joe and not far from Greg on Whitfield. There were a ton of kids on that street and we spent good bit of time from, 6th grade on roaming around, playing basketball in Joe's driveway, doing what kids do. As others have said Joe was always a genuinely nice, gentle guy. My condolences to the family.

We are so saddened to hear the news about Joe. He was able to make our 50th Class Reunion in April and it was great to talk with him there. Please know that the Paschal Class of '74 will miss him and his smile.

I agree with Brenda!!. It was wonderful seeing Joe in April and spending time talking to him. Catching up on old times as neighborhood friends. We lived on Whitfield, one block over. I am shocked and so sorry to hear about his passing. Prayers sent to his family and friends.
