Obituary of Hannelore Mülbert Lara

Hannelore Mülbert Lara, 86, passed away July 22, 2024.

Visitation: 5:00 p.m. Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Thompson's Harveson & Cole Cole.

Rosary: 6:00 p.m. Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Thompson's Harveso & Cole Funeral Home. 

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 2, 2024 at St.  Patrick Cathedral, 1206 Thorockmorton, Fort Worth, Texas.

Interment: 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery,

Hannelore was born in Heppenheim, Germany on December 4th, 1937. She was married to Adam S. Lara in 1961 in Frankfurt, Germany. As he was in the Air Force, they moved almost every two years before settling in Fort Worth in 1980.  She was a lifetime homemaker and mother to her two sons.

Hannelore is preceded in death by her husband, Adam S. Lara, who passed away in 2016.

She is survived by her sister, Erica Smith; her sons, Daniel and Charles (Michelle); grandchildren, Mary Ahles (Jacob), Joseph (Paige), Michael, John, David and Elizabeth; as well as two great grandchildren.
