I was privileged to work with John M. Nelson at Trinity River Authority of Texas for many years, and it was my true pleasure to call John my friend. He had a deep love for his family and was very proud of them. John had an admiration for the Arts, and we had many chats about books and movies. He was a master conversationalist, and I never tired of the interesting and lively tales he shared. I extend my deepest and most heartfelt condolences to his wife Elizabeth, his family, friends and colleagues ... John will be deeply missed.
