Obituary of Aimee Cheree Joiner
Aimee Cheree Joiner, our beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend passed away Saturday September 7,2024.
Aimee held a special place within our hearts. She knew how to create a unique bond with everyone she met. Aimee had a quick wit, infectious laugh, and a smile that would light up the room. She loved her family (especially her nieces and nephews), traveling to new places, and making memories whenever she could. If you asked Aimee what her top 4 favorite things are, she would tell you Disney, Hawaii, secret trips to WinStar with her mom, and Scott Caan.
Even though Aimee was not blessed with children of her own, she did not hesitate to spoil her nieces, nephews, and second cousins like they were her own. She never missed a birthday party, band competition, a Friday night football game, or band concert. They could count on Aunt Aimee to be there for prom dress shopping and graduation, and most importantly a “quick run to Target”.
She is survived by her Mother and Stepfather, Monya Henson and husband Dennis; Brother, Chance Joiner, and wife Jessica; Brother, James Joiner, and wife Chelsey; nieces and nephews: Katelynn, Emma, Madisyn, Cooper, Jaymee, Brodie, and Oliver; Grandmother, Charlie “Granny “Jean Wheat; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Aimee is preceded in death by her Father, James Wade Joiner; Uncles, Sonny Paul Wheat, and Farris Hugh Wheat; Grandfather, Farris Page Wheat; Step-Grandfather, Dean Scruggs; Grandmother, Annie Bell Joiner; Grandfather, John Andrew Joiner; other loved ones.
