Obituary of Jared Phoenix LaFleur
Jared Phoenix LaFleur chose to reunite with his ancestors on Monday, September 09, 2024 at the age of 18. He is survived by his family: Brenton, Alesha, Trinity, and Iriana; grandparents John and Linda LaFleur and Keith and Janice Mize; Uncles, Aunties, and loving cousins.
Those who knew Jared knew how much he loved sushi, Shipley’s donuts, Domino’s Pizza, and La Madeleine’s. He spent many vacations road tripping, camping, hiking, fishing and adventuring across the U.S. and Costa Rica with his family. The places he had yet to visit that were on his bucket list were Japan and Italy – to eat! Jared’s passions were grinding on video games, working out, learning martial arts and combat techniques (and being humbled) in his Muay Thai class, and playing with his dogs. Jared loved watching and re-watching the Lord of the Rings movies. He had a curious mind and enjoyed history, social, and political discussion, riddles, and playing games. His goofy sense of humor, quiet presence, and infectious smile will be missed by so many.
A Memorial Service for Jared is being held at Thompson’s Harveson & Cole Chapel, 4350 River Oaks Blvd., Fort Worth, Texas 76114 on Sunday, September 22 at 2:00 p.m. with visitation beginning at 1:30 p.m.
If you would like to express your sympathy, the family encourages donations to be given to American Foundation for Suicide Prevention- North Texas Chapter (https://afsp.org/chapter/north-texas) in Jared’s memory.
