Obituary of Pamala Natalie Holsey
Pamala Natalie Holsey, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all, passed away peacefully at her home in Fort Worth, Texas, on January 3, 2025. She was 77 years old.
Born on October 26, 1947, in Coleman, Texas, Pam grew up in Odessa, Texas surrounded by the love of her parents and six siblings. In 1963, her family relocated to Jal, New Mexico where she met the love of her life, Bily. The two fell in love and were married for 56 wonderful years. Together, they built a life filled with love and devotion and raised two children, Stephanie and Jason.
In 2002, Pam and Billy moved to Fort Worth to be closer to their cherished grandchildren, Hunter and Sydney. In 2004, Pam welcomed her granddaughter Angie into the family with open arms, unconditional love, and raised her as one of her own. Her family was her greatest joy and the heart of her world, and she found immense joy in every moment spent with them and treasured the memories they created together.
Pam had a deep passion for nature and gardening. She delighted in nurturing flowers, trees, and plants and had an impressive knowledge of their botanical names. She found beauty in life’s simple wonders- watching sunsets and the moonlight, and collecting leaves and rocks, sitting around campfires with loved ones, and having a cold Dr. Pepper. Her appreciation for the natural world was matched only by her boundless love for her family.
Pam’s legacy is one of love, warmth, and an enduring connection to the beauty of the earth. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
May those who loved Pam find comfort in the memories they hold dear and carry forward the enduring spirit of love she so freely gave to all. She will forever be remembered for her sweet nature, warm smile, natural beauty and complete selflessness.
Pam is survived by her husband, Billy Holsey; daughter, Stephanie Lynch and husband, Michael; son, Jason Holsey; granddaughter, Angie Holsey; grandson, Hunter Lynch and wife, Kate; granddaughter, Sydney Lynch; siblings, Pat Gable, Kent Sparks, Linda Erwin, Mike Pendergrass, Kay Pendergrass, Jan Hamilton, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pam is preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Zelda Pendergrass.
