Obituary of Jeffrey Severs

Jeffrey Severs, 70, passed away after a brief illness on November 11th, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.

Jeff was born in New Jersey and graduated from Ocean Township High School. He received his undergraduate degree from Rider University and his graduate degree from Rutgers University, both with magna cum laude honors.  He retired after a 21 year career as National Sales Manager from AT&T/Lucent Technologies and as COO from Exceleron Software.

Jeff's wife and daughter were the joy of his life. He loved the stage and enjoyed performing stand up comedy, singing, and acting. He was a devoted fan of “The New York Football Giants” and New York Mets. He was a friend to all and loved to put a smile on your face.

Jeff is survived by his wife, Lila Severs; daughter, Christina Severs; sister, Norma Severs DeSmedt (Daniel); sister, Eileen Severs Smith (Steven); and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Philip and Evelyn Severs.

Memorial Service: 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 1, 2023 at  All Saints’ Episcopal Church, 5001 Crestline Road, Fort Worth, Tx 76107.

Celebration of Life: 3:30-5:30 p.m. Friday December 1, 2023 at Colonial Country Club, 3735 Country Club Circle, Fort Worth, Tx 76109.
